“Leaves” is an experimental rock band from Reykjavik Iceland
that formed in 2001. Their music has been compared to Cold Play, Muse, The
Verve, and “The Doves” and have released four CD’s to rave reviews; “Breathe”
(2002), The Angela Test (2005) “We are Shadows” (2009) and “See You in the
Afterglow” (2014).
The Leaves have toured and supported many bands including,
The Strokes, Travis, Stereophonics, Supergrass, Thirteen Senses, and Duran
Duran, and continue to impress their critics with an evolving music style that
combines their experimental strengths with Pop, progressive rock and a dab of
psychedelia.
From the roots of
our civilization Grafarvogur,Reykjavík, Iceland comes a band named after the
flowers you pick up, blow on and the seeds become airborne..That group is The
Dandelion Seeds. They have released a 4- song EP titled "Good Times With
The Dandelion Seeds", a 2 song EP called “Pink Street Sessions” and a 9
song self titled CD “The Dandelion Seeds”. The music is full of life and takes
you back to the time of psychedelic influenced rock 'n roll of the 60’s.
