Gareth has just finished writing his third album, and has recorded the opening single, ‘Get your love on’ at Studio 5a, on the Isle of Wight.

He is touring the new material single across the UK, before releasing the single to coincide with his second Wembley Arena performance, in October.

Gareth’s second album, A Brand New Battle, was released by Manchester based label, Eromeda Entertainment.

The first single off the album, titled ‘Remember Who You Are’ was greatly received and has already racked up almost 200,000 hits on You Tube.

So far in 2013, he performed at the Isle of Wight Festival, where he was approached to perform on The Voice, an ITV Music talent show. He turned it down and instead, embarked on a 14 date tour of the Scottish Islands.

A Brand New Battle was recorded on the Isle of Wight at Studio 5a.

In 2012 Gareth played the Bestival, the Isle of Wight Festival, and a massive 6000 people sell out show at Wembley Arena.

He has struggled to tour until the summer, after suffering a horrendous double broken leg while playing football. After surgery and months of rest, Gareth is ready to get back on the road.

Gareth was a founding member of the rock band Kody. He played several tours and Festivals across the UK and also, a two week tour of America where the band achieved a large amount of their success. The band split and Gareth became a solo artist in 2008.

In December 2009, he released his debut album ‘It gets worse at night’ through Icon Records. The 10 track album was recorded and produced by Dan Swift (Kasabian, Snow Patrol, Aqualung) and received great reviews upon its release.

Gareth has toured tirelessly over the past few years taking him as far a field as the USA. He has played Top festivals including The Isle of Wight festival, Norway’s Quart Festival, The Festival Scene Des Brassage & Festival Sors De Chez Toi, both in France, as well as many UK tours.

The records opening track, ‘It Feels Like A Race’ was championed by radio stations all over the Country including Kerrang Radio, BBC 6 Music and Steve Wright’s Afternoon show on BBC Radio 2. The songs music video has now reached over 65,000 youtube hits.

Gareth was regularly headlining top London venues such as the Borderline, South of the Border and The Barfly. In 2010, Gareth completed a national UK tour, a ten date tour in Germany and played two great festivals in France. He also completed his 4th Liberty Tour along with Alan Frew and Jono. The Liberty Tour is a collective of the best independant acoustic artists. It puts them together and sends them out on tours across Britain and Europe.

The heavy NYC dirty funk 4-piece TAUK is hitting 2014 with their unique blend of experimental melodic prog rock and sexy grooves. Those home-made style recordings may be giving it their best shot at clinging on to the indie masses, but the past few months have seen an undeniable shift towards bigger and bolder sounding songs. Even the lo-fi darlings of a few years ago like Tennis or Dum Dum Girls are setting their sites on something a bit more ambitious. It can be hit and miss of course; either taking you to a new level or polishing away all the charm that made those records such a success in the first place. Sydney band The Fixators finalised their line-up in 2012 and there's no doubt where they stand in all of this. After a debut EP, they now release 'Colourblind' to coincide with a tour of their homeland's sweltering east coast.

Showing much ambition with their music, the quartet are taking aim at the mainstream, but doing so under the guise of an indie-rock band. Their record collection probably contains a few classic stadium-rock acts such as U2, but their sound isn't quite so unashamedly commercial. The plan here seems to be to impress with the sheer force and tightness of their tunes, while enchanting music fans (not just those who buy two albums a year) and trying to capture a decent share of the market. Granted, this track may be a bit too sanitised for some, but its inch-perfect production and storming chorus is made for both heavy radio rotation and filling cavernous venues. If things go their way, there could be some pretty big crowds at their gigs before long.

Goat is a blues/rock/other band based out of Chico, CA, consisting of Lowell Thomas, Josh Andrews, and Zach Sorenson. After several years of sporadic jamming, Lowell and Josh began ironing out a set-list of both original and cover material in hopes of eventually forming a stable group. Stability was found with the addition of Zach on drums, who would complete the trio in February of 2010. In September of 2011, Goat released their first self-titled album “Goat” and then in Dec2013 they released their 2^nd album titled “Breakthrough”.

About: Brother Speed

The name Brother Speed comes from an American outlaw motorcycle gang formed in Idaho in 1969. It’s in the music of this era on both sides of the Atlantic that was the basis to forming four-piece Brother Speed. Part Mersey Beat, part Summer of Love, part Manchester – from the raw fuzz and catchy vocal harmonies of the 1960s to the dance infused neo-psychedelia of the 1990s Brother Speed was born. Carrying the torch beyond the nineties, Brother Speed is a unique brand of psychedelic shoe gaze rock paired with groove based drums and catchy vocal harmony.

Brother Speed originally started as a side project for Darius Navidzadeh, former member of Sydney outfit Underlights. Darius, a guitarist and vocalist was one of the founding members and the key songwriters of the group, whose Triple J Unearthed winning single “Now That You’re in Love” saw them break into the music mainstream back in 2011.

After receiving significant national radio play and featuring at Big Day Out, Playground Weekender and Homebake among various other headlining shows in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, Darius relocated to London in search of a fresh project and to explore a new musical direction.

Darius spent time meeting with record producers in England, in particular Liverpool where he met founding Merseybeats member Billy Kingsley who imparted invaluable musical guidance and wisdom and continues to do so. It was a chance to immerse in England’s melting pot of emerging and established artists and plunge into a sound and scene already so familiar to him - albeit from thousands of miles away.

Born out of this musical pilgrimage was Brother Speed.

To harness this sound Brother Speed worked with Liam Judson, producer of the award winning album Bliss Release by Cloud Control and the acclaimed debut from The Laurels. Recorded on a remote farm in Kangaroo Valley the new project has delivered some very exciting sounds with Brother Speeds first single ‘Let Me Be’ released in July and now delivering ‘Which Side I’m on’, a must to be included in anyone’s soundtrack to summer.

Raba have played in established venues such as at The Garage in London and sold out their first headline Show at Bush hall. The band are continuing to gig extensively and are beginning to head out across the UK, to play shows to the fanbase they have built through their online presence. Raba have a tight and explosive rhythmic section along with delicate harmonies and expressive guitar work which provide the perfect setting for Scott's vocals. Scott is a storyteller with a strong sense of melody. The band was formed in 2011 with school friend connections Nick and Jamie. First Aid Kit are a Swedish duo comprised of sisters Johanna and Klara Söderberg, whose vocal harmonies and woodsy, folk-influenced songwriting take influence from the likes of Fleet Foxes and Joanna Newsom. Hailing from suburban Enskede, the siblings began composing songs as young teenagers in 2007. The home-recorded "Tangerine" enjoyed airplay on Swedish radio later that summer, and the debut EP Drunken Trees helped expand the girls' audience upon its release in April 2008. The London-based Wichita Records reissued Drunken Trees one year later, bolstering its track list with a reverent Fleet Foxes cover and three additional songs performed live in a Swedish forest. The duo then set to work on a full-length album, balancing schoolwork with the recording sessions. The Big Black & the Blue was released in 2010, followed by Lion's Roar in early 2012

Fueled by their unfailing passion and enthusiasm for the music, Tiller’s is continuingly experimenting with different phrasing, tones and textures while recording with some of the most exciting and innovative musicians and singers in the business today as they continue to evolve as artists. Names like the phenomenally talented front man of the iconic group NewGrass Revival, John Cowan to Bob Babbitt (most famous for his work as a member of Motown Records studio band, the Funk Brothers, from 1966–1972, as well as his tenure as part of MFSB for Philadelphia International Records) and the late legendary session keyboardist Larry Knechtel have moved Tiller’s music to a new level of mastery.

Now, in 2012 they have just completed their new project that marks a fresh, new direction for the band and unleashes the writing and acoustic performance prowess of this band. In addition to current members Bruce Coughlan, Nolan Murray and Laurence Knight they will again showcase the vocals prowess of the masterful John Cowan (Doobie Brothers/John Cowan Band), as well as introducing new musical collaborators like Josh Shilling (Mountain Heart) and Cia Cherryholmes (The Cherryholmes), Ronnie McCoury (Del McCoury Band/Travelin McCoury's), Sam Bush (NewGrass Revival founder/Sam Bush Band) and successful producer/writer/vocalist Wendy Waldman along with the legendary Scottish Music Hall of Famer Phil Cunningham on accordion. Rounding out the musical guests on the album will be Grammy winning "in-demand" producer/session man Randy Kohrs (Dolly Parton/John Cowan Band/Jim Lauderdale), guitarist Jeff Autry (John Cowan Band) and banjo great Scott Vestal (John Cowan Band/Sam Bush Band).

The band received critical praise and world-wide recognition when in the summer of 2012 they earned the high honor of winning the 11th Annual Independent Music Awards Vox Pop Poll for their song "Death & Taxes" from their new album, "Go The Road". The song, penned by Tillers prolific lead singer/principal songwriter Bruce Coughlan, was named Top Song in the "Social Action" category. This award was voted on by more than 60,000 music fans from around the globe, marking a turning point for this fabulous band.

With their new self-penned songs, new musical studio partnerships and an inexhaustible collaborative spirit, Tiller’s Folly is poised to breakthrough to the next level in 2012 and beyond.

Tyler James' debut full-length record It Took the Fire was released in 2010 on his own Son of Geert Records. For the 27-year-old Nashville songsmith, it's a coming of age album. "I'm part of a restless generation known more for its apathy than for its voice," he says. "My songs are about the struggle to find my own truth." With his heartfelt approach and raspy croon, James sounds like an old soul. Citing influences from Paul Simon to Rainer Maria Rilke, he has a reverence for past masters that does him good. With meticulously crafted arrangements disguised as simple pop tunes, It Took the Fire is one part classic 70s, another part Memphis soul.

Co-produced with acclaimed producer Neilson Hubbard (Glen Phillips, Garrison Starr), It Took the Fire was tracked in four days at Nashville's legendary House of David Studios. "Like a lot of studios on Music Row, you often feel like you're standing on hallowed ground," James says. "I used Elvis' piano on the record and the studio still has a trap door entrance from when he tracked there." Highlights on the record include the title track, which rings out like an old spiritual when he sings: "It took the fire to save my soul/ It took the fire to change me/ Glory shown in the ashes blowin' away." Other songs range from heartbreak on the slow jam "All I Got," to coping with the death of a friend on the Randy Newman-esque "A Sailor's Tune.”

Born in the Pacific Northwest, but raised in small-town Iowa, James has often been an outsider. "It was pretty much a few street lights and baseball diamonds surrounded by cornfields," he says. "I'm a Midwest kid at heart, but when you're young you don't see the value in it. Luckily I found a Dylan tape in my sister's pick-up truck one day and it changed everything." Once out of high school, James moved to Nashville and quickly found a home in the music community. "The talent here is overwhelming," he laughs. "I had the green knocked out of me pretty quick." James honed his craft while earning a college degree and eventually debuted in 2005 with the aptly titled An EP. Produced by Jason Lehning (Alison Krause, Guster), the release was met with critical acclaim, with Paste Magazine saying, "His vulnerable lyrics, uncontrived vocals and memorable piano and guitar arrangements make for a sound as accessible as it is meaningful.”

James' songs have found their way onto television shows like ABC's "Brothers and Sisters" and MTV's "The Hills." Additionally, his song "Call My Name" (a collaborative effort with DJ Morgan Page) reached number 5 on Billboard's worldwide dance charts last year. James has spent the last four years traveling the country in his old VW, playing with the likes of Ben Lee, Mat Kearney, Diane Birch, Bobby Bare Jr., Denison Witmer and The Autumn Defense. "I can't tell you how many strange couches I slept on," says James. "I don't do much planning ahead in the hope of finding the back alleys." That approach would sometimes backfire on him. "I'd end up freezing my butt off in the back seat at some dark truck stop in the middle of nowhere," he says. More recently James was one of the founding members of Ten Out of Tennessee, an acclaimed Nashville artist collective whose tours aim to prove there's more to Music City than rhinestones and cowboy boots.

With the release of It Took the Fire, James seeks beauty in the mystic and purpose in the disillusion that has defined his generation. "I wanted my record to reflect the community we have in Nashville," he says. "I still have hope that there are people out there who get together with friends, open up a bottle of wine and listen to records.”
