Jim Ghedi

After several years of experimentation and travelling around Europe, Jim Ghedi has returned to Sheffield UK with a signature progressive folk acoustic sound not to be missed. Working heavily in rhythmic phrasing as well as melodic & harmonic experimentation, Jim has crafted his style of playing by incorporating Jazz, eastern European Folklore, and African influences into his focus.

Jim Ghedi’s debut album “Home is Where I Exist, Now to Live & Die” will be released with Cambrian Records on the 4th November 2015.

“The material for the album, is a running dialogue of my time spent travelling from Brussels & northern Europe and then returning back home. The tracks are moments in time, and fragments of life lived being exposed in different places with different people.”

“I spent my time in Belgium with nothing set in place, but a friends room who kindly let me stay and play my acoustic guitar. I spent my days there writing music, exploring the library’s incredible archive, playing in the streets and exploring the world around me.”

Jim has collaborated and supported artists such as James Blackshaw, Richard Dawson, Dead Rat Orchestra, Cam Deas, C Joynes, Stephanie Hladowski, Alasdair Roberts, Alex nelson’s Death Shanties, The Big eyes family players and Trembling bells.

Jim will embark on an extensive UK tour starting in September 20^th through November 28^th to launch his new album so be sure to catch a live performance near you.

Dustin Prinz

Dustin Prinz was born and raised in the small town of West Point, Nebraska. Growing up in such a rural environment allowed Dustin to develop an extremely active imagination, provided him with a steady stream of song ideas.

Dustin is an extremely prolific songwriter with a powerful vocal and a unique performance style. His guitar method is a blend of hybrid picking and percussion developed during his days as a drummer. Dustin calls his style "Parapicking". His playing style garnered the attention of the folks at Jamplay.com and he was hired to teach a very popular guitar lesson series called "Parapicking For Knuckleheads".

Dustin recognized, early on, that Youtube could be a useful vehicle for his work. He has spent countless hours producing content for his Youtube channel and has been rewarded with more than 5 million views and over 26 thousand subscribers.

A Dustin Prinz show is a must-see for anyone who appreciates outstanding guitar work, creative song writing and a totally entertaining performance.

Igor Presnyakov

Igor Presnyakov was Born in Moscow, Russia. He studied classical guitar at a nearby academy and eventually graduated both as a guitarist and a conductor for ensembles. In the late ’70s he used to lead several hard-rock bands as a lead guitarist, vocalist and arranger. On that time he also played guitar in a big-band for several years. In 1991 he relocated to the Netherlands to start his solo career, which has now spanned over 20 years. Since he moved to Europe he started discovering fingerpicking and eventually created his unique acoustic guitar-style which is influenced by various musical genres. Igor is a contemporary guitar player, who arranges and composes in an orchestral way; combining percussion, bass, harmony and melody at the same time. His arrangements of popular songs bring a very interesting approach to the original compositions, giving them a totally new perspective and possibilities of the acoustic guitar.

Igor also sings in some of his works, where his artistic insight chooses the right moments for it, but mainly he skillfully translates the lyrics into a guitar melody, having his instrument sing the words. His popularity has risen since he first debuted on YouTube in 2007. Currently the videos uploaded by him have almost 200 million views, in addition to almost 500,000 subscribers. Igor has performed at several guitar festivals in Europe and is playing concerts all over the world. In the end of 2012 Igor recorded his latest album: IGGYFIED which has been released in 2013, it includes a selection of his finest covers and some originals works. Igor is officially endorsed by both Takamine guitars and Fender Amplification.

FLAV MARTIN (pronounced Flahv) is dedicated to writing eclectic acoustic music. Flav has appeared on The Morning Show (NBC) and has been the primary composer for Rhode Island's Shakespeare in the Park Festival held in Westerly, R.I. every summer for the past seven years.

Throughout his career he has played with and/or opened for David Crosby, Al Stewart, Jefferson Starship, Eric Burdon and the Animals, Suzanne Vega, Aztec Two-Step, Denny Laine (Paul McCartney and Wings), Leo Kottke, Pete Best (The Beatles,) Davy Jones (The Monkees,) Cry of Love, Tommy Emmanuel, Chad and Jeremy, The Radiators, Wide Spread Panic and Steve Morse to name a few. Flav's many writing credits include Saturday Night Live, PBS, Canon Films and New York-based off-Broadway productions and various independent films.

His music has been acclaimed by the media and some very well-known celebrities:

Credited as one of the most innovative acoustic guitar players on the scene today, Flav blends beautiful melodies with intricate technique, voicing, and a percussive style that leaves people saying "How does he do that?"

Flav has been called "the guitarist's guitarist; soulful, sarcastic, funny, and at times romantic" all in one. He is a unique, approachable player who has performed at The Bitter End, The Spotlight, The Narrows, Stone Soup, Newport Yachting Center, Folk City, The Knitting Factory in New York, The Nassau Coliseum, The Bluebird in Nashville and other various cities north, south, east and west. Flav has also appeared on the Martin Stage in Austin, Texas, the Zihuatanejo International Guitar Festival in Mexico and the Misquamicut Music Festival in Rhode Island. and many more venues throughout the country.

Flav's shared love is screenwriting which prompted him to open up a small project studio called "Mojo", a creative arts studio. It is a 1,200-square foot space in downtown Westerly with a small stage suitable for small film projects, talk show-type film interviews as well as audio pre-and post-production. He is currently available for scoring independent films/projects. Mojo is an active art gallery as well, fueled by the artistic vision of artist Wendy Gencarell.

Maneli Jamal

Maneli Jamal has lived in five different countries (Iran, Belarus, Germany, USA, Canada) and moved twenty times by the time he was 18. The young artist gained a sense of musical maturity rarely seen among his peers especially when he transforms his nomadic life experiences into musical movements using extended guitar techniques. There aren't many players in his style that have Jamal's balance of power and sensitivity, nor his breadth of ideas. His rhythmic concepts can be alternately short and dense, or explored carefully through several movements and real life stories. This becomes evident with having won countless music competitions around the world including placing in the top 3 at Guitar Idol held in London, UK. Having been brought up in a purely artistic and musical family has contributed to shape his unique story telling approach. He has recently toured New Zealand and Australia with a successful 35 show tour and is touring Europe in spring 2014.
