Plumb was born in Indianapolis and grew up in Atlanta,
singing in church and school. At 20 she moved to Nashville one week before her
21st birthday, working as a background singer for a number of notable artists,
including Bill Gaither and Amy Grant. Following Silvertone Records affiliate
Essential Records mainstream alternative radio success with its debut artist
Jars of Clay in 1995, the label signed Plumb as its second artist. When she was
urged to write, Plumb turned to Matt Bronlewee—an original member of Jars of
Clay who happened to be her next-door neighbor—and the two hit it off. The
debut album, Plumb, was released in 1997, with stage name Plumb coming from the
Suzanne Vega song "My Favorite Plum". Plumb has said subsequently that
the addition of the letter "B" to the end was the idea of her
producer Matt Bronleewe and, in her mind, also represents Bronleewe's important
contribution to her sound.
Candycoatedwaterdrops:
In 1999, Plumb released a second studio album titled
Candycoatedwaterdrops, which won the 2000 Gospel Music Association Dove Award
for "Modern Rock Album of the Year". Three tracks from it were later
covered by other artists; "Stranded" and "Here With Me" by
Jennifer Paige and, in 2001, "Damaged" by Plummet. Though the album
won the DOVE Award for Best Modern Rock Album in 2000, and saw strong radio
success with the single "God-Shaped Hole", the subject matter and
approach of much of Plumb's music was often considered too dark and taboo for
the mainstream Christian marketplace. Plumb's tendency to write songs about
deeply personal stories issues, such as international hit "Cut" which
addressed cutting, and "Damaged" which addressed a girl coping with
being molested as a child, led to more enthusiastic reception by fans of
alternative and dance music. Fueling the break from CCM, "Cut" was
also used prominently during a pivotal scene in the storyline of The Vampire
Diaries in the 10th episode of season 1, "The Turning Point".
Beautiful Lumps of Coal and Chaotic Resolve:
Plumb considered leaving the music industry after the 2000
album, but changed her mind after receiving a note from a fan a few hours
before what she thought to be her final concert. The letter was about her song
"Damaged" about a girl coping with being molested as a child. The
note said "Whatever you do, I just want you to never forget that you have
changed someone's life," which inspired Plumb to remain in the music
industry. She signed to Curb Records in 2003, releasing the album Beautiful
Lumps of Coal on March 25, 2003. The lead single, "Real", peaked at
No. 41 in the UK Singles Chart. Her next album, titled Chaotic Resolve, entered
the Billboard 200 album chart at No. 177 on March 9, 2006. "Better"
reached No. 1 on the U.S. Christian airplay chart. The Bronleewe & Bose
remix of her follow-up, "Cut", hit No. 1 on SiriusXM's dance hits
channel BPM, and No. 5 on Billboard's Dance Charts Hot Dance Club Songs.
Blink:
Shortly after the birth of her second child, Plumb recorded
her 5th album, titled Blink, as collection of lullaby inspired songs. It was
released on October 9, 2007, immediately becoming one of her best selling and
most enduring albums to date. Lead single "In My Arms", was used in
conjunction with key plot narratives for both Vampire Diaries and One Tree
Hill, and became Plumb's biggest international hit to date, selling close to
half a million singles in both the United States and Russia. "In My Arms"
received remixes by Kaskade, Scotty K, Bronleewe & Bose, Gomi, and Bimbo
Jones, with the later reaching the No. 3 spot on the Billboard Dance Charts.
Beautiful History:
On May 19, 2009, Curb Records announced that it would
release a career spanning greatest hits album titled Beautiful History, which
was released later in the year and included several new songs.[16] The first
single from Beautiful History, "Hang On", reached No. 1 on US
Billboard Hot Dance Club Play in 2009 and reached the top spot on Billboard's
Hot Dance Airplay chart in 2010.
Need You Now:
Plumb returned to the studio in
2010 with longtime producer and co-writer Matt Bronleewe to begin work on what
would become her 6th studio album, while also changing management and signing
with alternative boutique firm Street Talk Media. The debut single from the
project, "Drifting", a co-penned duet with longtime friend Dan
Haseltine (of Jars of Clay), spread quickly across Christian Rock radio. The
second single, "Need You Now (How Many Times)", went to CCM radio in
early 2012 and has become Plumb's most successful single to date in that
market, rising to number to No. 1 on multiple radio and iTunes charts in both
the United States and Canada by year's end. The single has remained in regular
rotation nationwide for well over a year, selling close to 300,000 singles on
iTunes to date, and is BDS certified at over 100,000 radio spins. The album
Need You Now was released worldwide in February 2013, charting at a career-best
No. 56 on the Billboard 200 chart and No. 2 on Christian album charts. The
album received five Dove Award nominations including Song of the Year and
Contemporary/Pop Album of the Year. With her children now all at least grade
school age, and with the massive success of Need You Now, 2012 and 2013 saw the
most aggressive touring of her entire career, playing major festivals
throughout 2012 and 2013, embarking on her first and largely sold-out
headlining tour in the fall of 2013, and joining the massive Winterjam arena
tour for November 2013-14. Exhale:
Plumb released her seventh
studio album, Exhale, on May 4, 2015.

every part of our lives. Whether intended for congregational singing or
personal listening, every song Chris writes is intended to exemplify a life of
worship.
Leigh Nash is perhaps best known as the
pixie-like singer with the heavenly voice from Sixpence None the Richer, a CCM
group that enjoyed considerable fame in 1999 with the single "Kiss
Me." She had started the band at age 14 with schoolmate Matt Slocum.
Nearly half her life later, at age 27,
Sixpence None the Richer split, albeit on good terms. Before the band called it
quits, Nash had often considered working solo, if and when she would be
band-less. Though the end of Sixpence left her a little distraught, Nash
realized it was time to move on, and she and her husband moved from Nashville
to Los Angeles.
Soon after, Nash gave birth to a son. She
decided to return to her roots a little, which consisted of Christian and
country music, though she remained in touch with her pop influences. Nash's
original musical inspiration came from classic country heroines Loretta Lynn,
Patsy Cline, and Tanya Tucker whose songs she used to learn on guitar long
before the Sixpence days. With motherhood as an inspiration, she recorded Blue
on Blue and moved back to Nashville to join Movement Nashville, a recently
formed collective of musicians geared toward expelling the myth that
Nashville's music scene consists only of country and Christian music. Blue on
Blue was released in August of 2006. ~ Megan Frye, All Music Guide
On November 15th 2011, Leigh
Nash released Hymns & Sacred Songs, marking her rediscovery of the sacred
songs that stirred her imagination long before she became a recording star.
Nash grew up singing in church, but it
wasn’t what you might think. She wasn’t the golden-haired angel singing the
solo in the Christmas pageant. She was the girl in the pew just beginning to
discover her own voice.
That shy young girl from New Braunfels,
Texas, would grow up to become the unforgettable Grammy-nominated voice behind
such pop hits as “Kiss Me,” “There She Goes” and “Breathe Your Name” as lead
vocalist for Sixpence None the Richer.
Nash’s professional successes
notwithstanding, life has offered up its share of personal challenges in recent
years: the joyful arrival of her son Henry, a painful divorce, and the death of
her father. And in the midst of all of it, Leigh has discovered the reality of
God’s grace and comfort firsthand. “Before all this, I always felt a little
self-conscious singing in church, a little awkward trying to sing the melodies.
I think a big part of me didn’t feel worthy to be a conduit for such sacred
hymns and songs, but now, because of what I have been through, I see it
differently. To discover that songs written hundreds of years ago are still so
inspiring and relevant to my life, that grace is most real when you need it
most, I honestly felt every word on this record.”
Jeff Paisley fell in love with music when
he was a young boy and joined choir in the 3rd grade. By the time he was 16,
and with the influences of Paul McCartney, Duran Duran, Bryan Adams, and Def
Leppard, he started down a path of teaching himself how to play keyboards and
writing music.
Over the years Jeff had been a part of many touring choirs and bands which
fueled the fires of love he had for music. But when Jeff got married, music
took a back seat to family. He passed on an offer from a subsidiary of a major
label when he was 22 but kept writing music through the years.
When he learned of the true mercy and love of his Savior Jesus Christ and His
second coming Jeff’s life and music changed. He went on to Pastor for a few
years… doing prophecy seminars and music around the US, Ukraine, and Russia as
well as founding and hosting a radio program called The Awesome Light.
During those years Jeff had been told by his friends and family that he should
send his music to Christian record companies, but he was focused on being a
Pastor.
In 2008, he finally gave in and Jeff signed with Tate Music Group. During
production of the album, Jeff had massive side effects from a medication that
left him sick for nearly two years. Tate Music Group waited on him to heal and
finish the tracks which he ended up producing and recording mostly by himself.
God has comforted, protected, and guided Jeff through the years. Jeff believes
that God is a God of second chances… Jeff’s mission in life, and in his music,
is to proclaim the true love, mercy, and soon second coming of our Lord and
Savior, Jesus Christ.
In 2010 Jeff decided to leave Pastoral
ministry and pursue a full time music ministry.
"Forever Believe" was released in March of 2011. With little to no
marketing Jeff left Tate Music Group late in 2011 and is currently looking to
sign with another label and re-release "Forever Believe."
Matt Haeck keeps an ear studiously and
respectfully trained on those men and women, both living and long dead, who
give us our rich heritage of American music. Matt has lived in every major
region of America, but he and his music have made their way to Nashville. He
comfortably assimilates northern soul, west coast harmonies, east coast pop and
Midwest rock into his brand of southern Americana. The stories these places
tell combine with influences from Wilco and Stephen Foster to Cormac McCarthy
and the Old Testament to form the substance of Matt's songs.
Western States
In January of 2010 Matt released his EP, Western States.
The seven songs on the album explore thoughts of running, loving, losing, and
longing. "The EP's lyrical content and musical fluidity make it timeless
and make Matt Haeck one of the finest up-and-comers making music these
days." (thisismodern.net)
Late Bloomer
Late Bloomer was recorded in 5 straight
days in October, 2014. It was graciously funded by 177 beautiful humans. The
songs contained in this album came from a four year struggle through a deep
darkness and the light on the other side. I hope these sounds do you some good.

We are a

encourage friends to seek hope, love and joy with us. Christ represents all of
these to us and is the reason we make music

All the Times We
Had, Ivan & Alyosha’s first full-length album, encapsulates the
personalized blend of rousing songcraft, infectious melodic hooks and
thoughtful lyrical introspection that’s already endeared the band to just about
anyone who’s witnessed one of their effortlessly uplifting live shows, or who’s
heard either of their two prior indie EP releases.
The Seattle
combo—which borrows its name from a pair of characters from Dostoevsky’s The Brothers
Karamazov—delivers its songs of struggle, perseverance and spirituality with a
resilient, upbeat attitude that’s reflected in their bubbly brew of stirringly
strummed folk-rock guitars, surging instrumental interaction and a bright,
buoyant blend of voices that reflects the band members’ family-style
camaraderie, evoking a timeless pop ideal that’s as affecting emotionally as it
is pleasing to the ear.
The intrepid
ensemble—comprised of core members Tim Wilson (lead vocals and acoustic
guitar), Ryan Carbary (guitars, piano and vocals), Tim Kim (electric guitar and
vocals) and Tim’s brother Pete Wilson (bass and vocals), plus a revolving
assortment of friends and collaborators on keyboards, drums and other
instruments—has spent much of the past two years on the road, traveling the
highways and back roads of America, often with wives and children in tow,
building a loyal fan base with their joyous, high-energy live performances.
Ivan &
Alyosha’s prior releases and live shows have won the band copious critical
acclaim. They’ve also done successful stints opening for the likes of Aimee
Mann, Brandi Carlile, the Low Anthem, Rosie Thomas and John Vanderslice. Since
early in its existence, the group has been embraced enthusiastically by
alternative radio, performing multiple on-air sessions for NPR as well as
receiving notable support from such key stations as KCRW, KEXP, WFUV and WNYC.
The same
qualities that originally won Ivan & Alyosha media attention and a devoted
grass-roots audience are apparent on All the Times We Had, which the band
co-produced in collaboration with keyboardist/engineer Chad Copelin, and mixed
by Jesse Lauter (The Low Anthem). The 11-song album effortlessly captures the
warmth and immediacy of Ivan & Alyosha’s live performances, lending added
resonance to such lyrically compelling, melodically arresting tunes as “Be Your
Man,” “Running for Cover,” “Don’t Wanna Die Anymore,” “The Fold” and the
album’s’ bittersweetly reflective title track, which features guest vocals by
the band’s frequent touring partner and longstanding admirer Aimee Mann.
“We didn’t get it
perfect, but I definitely think we got it right,” Tim Wilson says of the new
album. “We really worked hard to get a live vibe, and to capture that
inspiration that we get when we’re on the road, when everybody’s together and
feeding off of each other. You can nit-pick and edit everything until it sounds
perfect, but we were more concerned with just getting the best performances we
could. I think that it’s more mature and more focused, and closer to what we do
live, than the records that we’d done before. We definitely had moments in the
studio where it like, ‘Oh, wow, this is special.’”
Ivan &
Alyosha formed in 2007, when Tim Wilson met Ryan Carbary. Both had been in
various Seattle-area combos, but the songs that Wilson was writing at the time
seemed to call out for a new musical approach. The pair spent nearly a year
writing material for their debut EP, The Verse, The Chorus. Released in March
2009, the EP generated an unexpected level of national exposure, with the
charming tune “Easy to Love” (reprised on All the Times We Had) receiving
considerable airplay. The debut EP won the band an interview on NPR’s All
Things Considered and coverage in NPR’s All Songs Considered SXSW 2010 preview.
A subsequent appearance at the SXSW festival generated considerable
music-industry word-of-mouth.
By the time Ivan
& Alyosha recorded its second EP, Fathers Be Kind, in February 2011, the
group had expanded to include Tim Wilson’s bass-playing brother Pete, whose
songwriting abilities contributed considerably to the band’s creative arsenal,
and Tim’s high school friend Tim Kim, whose distinctive guitar work added a new
dimension to their sound. Fathers Be Kind’s majestically jangly title track became
a favorite of fans, critics and DJs, and reappears in a newly recorded version
on All the Times We Had.
“When we recorded
The Verse, the Chorus, we’d never really played live as a band,” Tim Wilson
notes. “By the time we did the Fathers Be Kind EP, my brother Pete and Tim Kim
had come on board, and we had done a west coast tour or two, and some dates on
the east coast, but we were still figuring out how to play together. After
Fathers Be Kind came out, we went out and spent year and a half touring, and became
a real band. I think that’s reflected on the new album.”
Indeed, All the
Times We Had demonstrates the positive effects of the band’s extensive
roadwork, underlining just how far Ivan & Alyosha has progressed since its
humble origins.
“I think that we
all feel pretty strongly that this is what we’re supposed to be doing, playing
music, trying to write good, timeless songs, and trying to connect with
people,” Wilson states. “I think that we have a pretty deep sense of purpose,
that this is not just some accident. I guess that the essence of faith is
having felt or experienced something that maybe you can’t hold in your hand,
and I think that’s how I’d describe my attitude towards music. And it’s OK if
it’s hard, because anything in life that’s worth doing is hard.
“I’m guilty as
guilty as anyone, of wanting certain things or wanting to be in a certain place
right now,” he concludes. “But we’re building something, and building something
takes time. I’m learning to enjoy the journey, and I think we all are.”

The Wrecking is
defined by an unparalleled drive for what is deeper. Musically, emotionally and
spiritually, this band communicates on a level that is undeniable.
Previously featured in USA Today for their latest
EP "The Catalyst," capturing a spotlight on lead A&R sites
Crazed Hits/Kings of A&R, and having graced the cover of the industry
leading R&R magazine, the 4-pack of musicians are commonly referred to as
perfectionists in their obsessive pursuit of sonic excellence and explosive
execution. The Wrecking has
cultivated a truly unique sound that is readily accessible by interlocking
hook-driven rock with urban grooves and futuristic adventurism. They
have emerged from the East Coast music scene as a national critically
acclaimed powerhouse, touring close to 200 dates a year across the U.S. from
churches to sold out music festivals in front of thousands; along
side like acts such as Sanctus Real, Jars of Clay, Third Day and more.
Besides recently selected as a featured artist
with GRAMMY U, The Wrecking singles "About to Fall," "You
Remain," and "Sound of Resistance" have topped the charts at AIR
1 radio. Their debut album "A New Abolition" ranked #38 on
Billboard's Top Christian/Gospel Album's Chart and #32/Top Current Contemporary
Christian. Their raw cover of the ever popular U2's "Get On Your
Boots" was named Best of YouTube and captured over a quarter of a million
views.
Explicit sincerity as musicians as well as people
has allowed The Wrecking the
ability to seamlessly navigate between Christian and mainstream venues with
instant credibility and great success. As drummer Darren Elder explained in a
previous interview, "Christ has changed my life and the lives
of all the guys in the band, and we are so thankful for that, that's the
essence of what the songs are about. But, we truly respect what anyone believes
and want to be sensitive to that, we just want to say, Hey, His love is
beautiful and it sustains us."
Named "Top 10 Artists to Watch" by Go
Magazine, featured on Amazon.com as Artist of the Month and named by iTunes as
"Rising Stars," their passion for music and connecting the world
to what is deeper, has sparked an ever-increasing blaze of hope-inspiring songs
that serve as a battlecry for the abolition of slaves around the world.
With a stunning debut recording and a reputation
for an exacting live show, The Wrecking is releasing some of the most buzz worthy
songcraft emerging from today's alternative music scene. The Wrecking's National
Debut "A New Abolition" hit stores in August of 2008 via
Chosen/Executive/Universal Music Christian Group.
