Special Announcement:
World United Music (W.U.M.) will begin a weekly publication
called “United Music Mag” to Promote what’s new in music by “Signed”,
“Unsigned”, and “Independent” artists. Each post will spotlight at least four
artists, including info on their upcoming releases, social links, and their
latest music on Bandcamp, YouTube, and / or Soundcloud.
The purpose of W.U.M. is to bring great music back to the spotlight and help the artists rebuild a new industry in their image while keeping fans up to date with what artists are up to. So we’ve
stepped up our promotion efforts by launching “United
Music Mag” to help as many artists as possible.
BANDCAMP
Bandcamp is the music application we support when purchasing new music, so it will feature prominently because it is the only music
vendor that allows artists to keep the lions share of their sales while also
allowing the artists to retain their music rights. We like Bandcamp’s music
application as well because it is easily shared across Facebook, Twitter and
Google+ and it’s user friendly, so for these important reasons, we support
Bandcamp and see them playing a significant role in the future of a new music
industry.
The Mainstream Corporate Industry
Mainstream radio and the major labels dropped the ball and
failed the artists and music fans long ago and still haven’t managed to get
their act together with regards to showcasing ALL THE BEST NEW MUSIC out there,
which is why we see so many artists finding themselves on the outside looking
in. Well, I decided to do something about that and built World United Music to
help promote the artists and their music to a wider audience. World United Music
supports all artists even those signed to the mainstream labels, because after all that's said and done,
it’s really about great music.
World United Music on YouTube
World United Music has a solid presence on YouTube with a
growing subscriber base where the music uploads and Play-lists created continue to receive a lot of attention and have helped artists reach a larger
audience for several years now.
The music that I’ve put together in the play-lists contained
on the World United Music channel proves my point and the value of this
project. All we ask is that the artists help promote this website, along with
the posts they are featured in, including what World United Music is about. Help me, help you to reach a global audience.
…and that is what World United Music is about, the future of your music.
